Assistant FM heads Kuwait’s delegation to MESA meeting in Riyadh

Assistant Foreign Minister for Affairs of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah heads Kuwait's delegation to the Middle East Strategic Alliance meeting.

Assistant Foreign Minister for Affairs of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah headed Kuwait’s delegation to the Middle East Strategic Alliance meeting in Riyadh on Monday.

The meeting, which brought together representatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states, in addition to Jordan and the United States, comes within the framework of the efforts exerted to create a strategic Middle East alliance.The alliance aims to boost security, stability and prosperity on the regional and international levels.

Today’s meeting comes after the MESA meeting held in Washington on February 21.The Kuwaiti delegation included Assistant Foreign Minister for Gulf Cooperation Council Affairs Ambassador Nasser Heji Al-Mezyan, several foreign ministry officials representing different sectors including those of the political, legal and anti-terror affairs, and two representatives of the Ministry of Defense, namely Brigadier Mohammad Abdulaziz Al-Dhufairi, and Lieutenant Colonel Sheikh Sabah Mohammad Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
