‘Indiafest-2019’ mega carnival to be held on 25 Feb

As a part of Kuwait National day celebrations, Saradhi Kuwait along with various Regional Associations from more than 11 India states, will be organizing ‘Indiafest-2019’, a Mega Carnival on 25 February, 2019 at Indian Central School – Jleeb Al Shuwaikh, Kuwait.

Saradhi Kuwait also takes the opportunity to pay tribute to the glorious Indian Art forms featuring cultural events from East, West, North and South of India. This show is expected to be one of its kind where Saradhi Kuwait will attempt to showcase the rich cultural diversity of Independent India in one stage.

Indiafest-2019 is a humble attempt by Saradhi Kuwait to bring people belonging to the different Indian states together under one roof and highlight the fact that Indians are united regardless of differences in culture, language & religion.

India fest-2019 will start with a free Medical checkup including Diabetes checkup for fasting and after Fasting Glucose level, coordinated through Bader Al Samaa Clinic. Events include a Mummy and Me Fashion show competitions for the mothers and kids from 4 years, exciting Bollywood show for kids (age 7 to 15 years), Prince/Princess show (age 4 to 7yrs) and Floral show for couples.

The leading Instrumentalist Gino Jose (Junior Sivamani) will perform along with the famous singer from India Ms. Sheika which will add more flavor to this colorful event. The famous oncologist of Kuwait Cancer Centre, Dr. Sushovana Sujith Nair will spare her valuable time for Indiafest-2019 to conduct a free Cancer Screening for women from 3.00pm in the evening. The Big Chef Noushad will conduct the Cooking competitions for Biryani, Payasam, Salad, Snacks and Vegetable Carving). Other major attractions of the day include Mehandi, Spot photography, Selfie contest, Game Stalls, DJ, Classic Motor Bike Show, Food Stalls from diversified Indian Cuisines among others.

Inauguration of the carnival and declaration of the new Joint Platform of all regional Indian Associations will be at 3.30pm by Ambassador of India to Kuwait H.E. Jeeva Sagar , Dr. Jasem Al Barrak – Chairman, Medical Oncology Department (KCC), Dr. Anwar – Vice President of Sidra Clinic & Dr. Mustafa Al-Mousawi – Chairman and Consultant Surgeon of Organ Transplant Centre. The dais will be opulent by the presence of prominent leaders of various regional organizations. The major objective of this Coordination Committee is to help the distressed Indians in Kuwait Cancer Center hospital and other major hospitals.

Saradhi Kuwait is joining hands with Billava Sangha Kuwait (Karnataka), Telugu Kala Samithi Kuwait (Andhra Pradesh), Telengana Association (Telengana), United Telugu Forum, Maurya Kala Parisar (Bihar & Jharkand ), Samarpan (Gujarat Association), ASOM Association Kuwait (Assam), Rajasthani Darpan Association (Rajasthan), Maharashtra Mandal Kuwait (Maharashtra), Life Again Foundation Kuwait, Frontline (Tamil Nadu), Goan Association (Goa), Buntara Sangaha, Bengal Cultural Association, BCS (Bengal), Kuwait Odisha Association (Orissa) & Uttarakhand Cultural Association Kuwait (UCAK).
