A delegation from Kuwait Football Association (KFA) took part in the second round of the FIFA World Summit on the Development of International Football System.
The summit started on Tuesday in the Moroccan city of Marrakech under the chairmanship of FIFA President Gianni Infantino and the participation of more than 51 federations.
Kuwait’s delegation, consisting of Vice President Ahmad AlEnezi and Secretary General Mohammad AlAli, held meetings with FIFA officials, including President Infantino and Secretary General of FIFA Fatma Samoura, as well as officials of the federations participating in the summit.
This summit will discuss a number of issues and decisions that concern the development of football in the world, including raising the number of teams that will participate in the next World Cup in Qatar.
The second round, which runs until 19 of this month, is part of three rounds of FIFA after the first round held last December in the Qatari capital Doha, while the final round will be held in Italy.
