‘Will – O’ – the – Wisp’ concert entrances audience at SIS

An enchanting musical fiesta was held by Smart Indian School (SIS) in collaboration with Al Mulla Exchange, called  ‘Will – O’ – the – Wisp’ on 21 February at the SIS school auditorium. A high note of the function was the emotional performance of the ‘Bhavans Middle East Euphonic Strings’, an eleven-member musical troupe that renders soul-soothing music.

The musical evening saw the attendance of the mesmerizing violinist, Sabareesh Prabhaker from the Indian state of Kerala with Sumesh Anand on keyboard and Master Chris on rhythm pad. The day was graced by the Principal of SIS – Mahesh Iyer, Vice-Principal of IES – Lalitha Premkumar, Vice-Principal of SIS –  Albin Daisy and SIS KG Supervisor Rajni Menon.

The much-awaited evening started off with the Kuwait National Anthem followed by the verses from the Holy Quran.  Rajni Menon the KG Supervisor extended her welcome address on behalf of Bhavans Middle East Euphonic Strings. The audience spent a minute to pay homage to the Jawans of the Pulwama attack in India. Talented violinist Sabreesh Prabhaker gave a commendable performance on the violin accompanied by the keyboard to present quite a melodious show.

The combination of classic, fusion and world music were a part of the entertainment for the evening. The members of the Euphonic Strings enthralled the audience with their vocals. A note on gratitude was expressed by the Vice-Principal Albin Daisy to the sponsors and co-sponsors and the audience. It also fetched huge appreciation from the online viewers who witnessed the musical session.  The management is proud of the parent community who are the instruments in reaching to the less privileged through this charitable act of music therapy and appreciates the eleven member team for their hard work and dedication in putting up such an enthralling show.
